Measured, not asserted
Every factor traces to a record written at the time of the work, with the estimate's basis and author attached. If it cannot be recomputed from the rows, it is not published.
About Fulcrum
Fulcrum began as the instrument Renkara used to keep an honest record of its own AI-native build. It is licensed to other teams because the question it answers is now everyone's: how much of the work did the agents actually do, and what did it cost the people supervising them?
Renkara Media Group was founded in 2008 in Chicago and is based today in Keller, Texas. In 2026 it set out to build an adaptive learning platform, a family of products on top of it, and the fleet of internal tools to run them, with one engineer and a bench of AI agents. The question that mattered was whether that was working, and a feeling was not an answer.
So the first record was written on February 22, 2026, and every task since has been logged the same way: the hours a senior engineer would have needed, the minutes the agents took, and the minutes the operator spent prompting, supervising, correcting, and reviewing. The record now holds 3,552 tasks and is published in full at charlessieg.com/leverage, corrections included.
The arguments about what those numbers mean became the measurement contract: a ratio of sums rather than a mean of ratios, coverage stated beside every figure, capability expansion counted without invented hours, and a publication step that never lets raw task text cross the boundary. The software enforces the contract so that nobody has to remember it.
Fulcrum is licensed for installation rather than sold as a service for the same reason the record was kept in the first place. A company's account of its own engineering belongs to that company, on its hosts, under its identity provider, whether or not it ever renews.
Every factor traces to a record written at the time of the work, with the estimate's basis and author attached. If it cannot be recomputed from the rows, it is not published.
The headline is 60 times the sum of hours over the sum of minutes. The mean of task factors is kept, labeled, and never promoted. Coverage is printed next to every number it qualifies.
Installed in your environment, exportable whenever you like, readable after the license ends. Nothing is sent to Renkara.
The operator's decisions are the scarce input. Fulcrum measures the fatigue that accumulates across a day of them and tells the agents how to behave in response.

Founder and CEO, Renkara Media Group, Inc.
Charles Sieg is a cloud architect and platform engineer who builds apps, services, and infrastructure for Fortune 1000 clients through Vantalect. He is also the founder and CEO of Renkara Media Group, Inc. and inventor of the AVIAN adaptive learning platform. The 3,552-task record on the home page is his, and it is the one Fulcrum was built to keep.
Vantalect, LLC is the consulting practice through which the two Fulcrum-included engagements are delivered. Fulcrum itself is a product of Renkara Media Group, Inc., a privately held company in Keller, Texas.
One annual license installs Fulcrum in your environment: the API, the dashboard, the CLI, and the MCP server your agents already know how to call. $1,199 per year. Included for a year with every Vantalect engagement.
